# Standing instructions for Claude

I am a property investor. This folder is my portfolio.

- portfolio.md lists what I own, one row per property.
- income-log.md logs rent received and expenses, month by month.

When I paste bank figures or a rent report:
1. Add them to income-log.md as a new month section.
2. Compare rent received against the monthly rent in portfolio.md.
3. Flag any property that is short or missing, and by how much.

When I ask for a partner update, build it only from these files, keep it factual and short, and note anything you had to assume.
